Photographic-artist Tara McDermott had her Coenosium images accepted into the Anacortes Arts Festival Juried Show (Art the Port) in July/August. She was awarded the Wallie Funk Memorial Award of $1,000 by the Festival Curatorial Team for her photograph, “Verdant.” Both works submitted were purchased by the Island Hospital Women’s Clinic in Anacortes.
