• Anytime it rains, I’m thrilled.

• Bat-like hearing.

• Anybody still alive.

• The Doors (first and best).

• Fruit and nuts.

• Anything rusted.
Where is the coolest place you traveled? Where would you most want to travel to?
• Nova Scotia.

• Untouched nature.

• Hell if I know, I can’t sing and I can’t remember one line of any song.

• One that scared the crap out of my neighbour.

• The Book of Negroes…crushed me.

• Before You Knew My Name

• Nothing so far.

• Better Things ( probably the most honest comedy/drama about a single Mom in LA)

• Still waiting.

• You’ll grow out of it.

• All day is best for me.

• My hands.

• Any outsider artist out there.
Favorite color palette/color combo?
• Bright orange and …well, let’s see, any crazy color that compliments it.
Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
• I am from Nova Scotia and I will never get over it. The damned place haunts me.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
• Everything influences me.
What is your favorite medium, and why?
• Everything…mud, paint, metal…the whole shebang.
Where do you find inspiration?
• Just about everywhere but most especially junk stores.
When is your favorite time of day to create?
• Any ol’ time.
What motivates you to create?
• Fear.
How do you define success as an artist?
• To continually stretch outside your comfort zone.
Does your art practice help you in other areas of your life?
• Who the hell knows?
How has your style changed over time?
• Goodness, I seem to change continually.
