• No one will care about your family documentary (“A Lot Like You”) because there’s no one famous in it. I made it anyway…and they were wrong.

• Morning.

• Diebenkorn, Klee, Miro, Kline, Richter.

Favorite color palette/color combo?
• Blue & orange.

What’s your favorite medium, and why?
• Cold wax medium mattes the glossiness of my oil paints and allows me to do cool things with textures & layering.

Has your art practice help you in other areas of your life?
• I’ve become clearer about my Yes’s & No’s. In art and in life, I’m more decisive and have learned to trust my gut.

How do you define success as an artist?
• Making art that speaks to my soul & brings me joy ~ and that connects viewers to a part of themselves that’s beyond the reach of words.
