• So many! Deception Pass.

Favorite beach/waterfront spot:
• Our neighborhood beach on Whidbey.

Favorite seasonal Seattle activity/event: 
• Kayaking

Favorite style of house: 
• Sleek modern but with warm touches.

Favorite museum/galleries (aside from CCG!) 
•The Frye Museum, The Orsay and Musee Marmottan Monet in Paris, MOMA, Guggenheim.

What gets your creative juices flowing? 
• Music! And being out in nature.

Best concert? 
• Best and most recent was Bon Iver! 

What are your go-to comfort foods?
• Coffee, red wine, and chocolate.

What is something that always makes you smile? 
• My dogs! 

What is your favorite random fact? 
•I was once peed on by a lion.

What emoji do you use most often?
• Heart

What book changed your life? 
• So many – too hard to choose!

What is the last book you read? 
• Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.

What movie could you quote by heart? 
Regarding Henry with Harrison Ford & Dead Poets Society with Robin Williams! 

Do you work better in the morning or at night?
• Evening & night! 

Favorite studio tool? 
• Old credit cards/room keys.

Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
• I moved around constantly growing up. So much so, that we joked we were in the witness protection program and my dad was a spy. That affects my work because I was exposed to many different places and I got so good at leaving. Currently, I’m working on a series of paintings that explore home, identity, and sense of place.

Where do you find inspiration? 
• Nature mostly! 

When is your favorite time of day to create?
• Afternoon, evening. 

What motivates you to create? 
• My happiness depends on it! Creating makes me feel alive! 

Does your art practice help you in other areas of your life?
• It fuels the rest of my life! 

How has your style changed over time?
• I take much more artistic license and use less realistic colors focusing on loosening up.
