• Music! And being out in nature.

• Coffee, red wine, and chocolate.

• My dogs!

•I was once peed on by a lion.

• Evening & night!

• Old credit cards/room keys.
Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
• I moved around constantly growing up. So much so, that we joked we were in the witness protection program and my dad was a spy. That affects my work because I was exposed to many different places and I got so good at leaving. Currently, I’m working on a series of paintings that explore home, identity, and sense of place.
Where do you find inspiration?
• Nature mostly!
When is your favorite time of day to create?
• Afternoon, evening.
What motivates you to create?
• My happiness depends on it! Creating makes me feel alive!
Does your art practice help you in other areas of your life?
• It fuels the rest of my life!
How has your style changed over time?
• I take much more artistic license and use less realistic colors focusing on loosening up.
