In 2023, Eliaichi Kimaro challenged herself to create one small painting every day. She dusted off her smallest sketchbook and let go of any expectations of perfection. Her only goal was to show up & play ~ experimenting with materials, color, form and technique. Pretty soon, her journal paintings broke free from covering the whole page, and bold, colorful forms started to emerge.

This solo show will include a sampling of these journal pages and some of the larger pieces they inspired.
