Columbia City Gallery artist Marian Wachter has a love of printmaking and Washington’s wilderness. These passions come together in a show of 19 handmade prints of threatened or endangered Washington wildflowers, along with another dozen prints of common plants. All are handmade with woodblock and other print mediums in small editions of 10-15 prints.
The prints will be on display at the Elizabeth C. Miller Library at the University of Washington’s Center for Urban Horticulture from March 3rd through the 30th during the library’s open hours.
You are invited to a reception at the library on March 21 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be an artist talk at 2 p.m. facilitated by Abbie Birmingham.
