SUMMARY:Portrait Life Drawing Session
DESCRIPTION:The live model session will feature one extended 2 1/2 hour pose with a 20-minute break. \nJoin us for a live clothed model session open to all artists and skill levels. Guests are welcome to bring watercolor\, acrylic paint\, charcoal or their favorite medium to explore life drawing and painting from observation. A portrait drawing session is a wonderful way to strengthen both artistic skill and personal expression. Through careful observation\, artists improve technical abilities while deepening their understanding of anatomy and proportion. Studying light\, shadow\, and texture helps refine hand-eye coordination while enhancing expression and confidence in drawing. Beyond technique\, portrait drawing can be deeply therapeutic\, offering a calming\, focused practice that reduces stress and encourages self-expression. \nFacilitated by Thoa Nguyen\, with model Sibyl James.
