Unspoken: A Love Letter to the Softer Sides of Blackness
April 30 - June 8

This community exhibit features artists Zabia Colovos, Lex Clark, Le’Ecia Farmer, and Ric’kisha Taylor
This exhibit is an offering. A gathering of Black women and non-binary artists whose work moves through the delicate, the tender, the interior spaces of Black life. Spaces we have always inhabited, but have rarely been witnessed in.
In this show, we hold the softness. The slowness. The grief and joy. The strange and the sensual. The love and the unbecoming.
Through sculpture, photography, textile, and sound, these artists carve portals into the places we are not always allowed to go — the feelings we have not always been able to speak. This is where we grieve, rest, stretch, bloom, and make ourselves whole again.
This is a love letter. To the unspoken. To the unseen. To us.
