To celebrate Black History Month, artists Admassu and Samuel Blackwell present new works exploring their lives and experiences.

He has been practicing art for 15 years as well as curating exhibitions in Seattle and overseas. Admassu takes inspiration from nature and uses a breadth of materials and mediums in his portraits.

Samuel Blackwell has more than 20 years of experience as a working artist. His paintings reflect his strong belief in the Christian faith and an honest, heartfelt approach to expressing figures.
