This exhibit brings together diverse works exploring the search for the divine (and what that means to each artist).  

Osa Elaiho’s colorful paintings on canvas resound with movement and joy.

Saundra Fleming is showing paintings in contrast – baroque style work alongside minimalist paintings, as well as portraits on pillows.

Alexis Lee Ortiz-Duarte has created a space and the tools to commune with the divine. Mixed media noise makers and assemblages help the user speak to “the other side.”

David Traylor will be showing a series of small works that challenge the viewers’ conceptions of painting, as well as two ceramic “portable reliquaries.”
