I am a multidisciplinary artist incorporating printmaking, mixed media, found objects and photography. I use contemporary printmaking and painting materials and processes to create imagery that reflects the fragmentary quality of remembrance, the energy contained in objects passed down, and the resiliency reflected by creating a new life from fragments of all that has gone before.

My work has always examined questions of history and identity and I have a deep curiosity about how the past is embedded visually and psychologically in the present. I use contemporary printmaking and painting materials and processes to create imagery that reflects the fragmentary quality of remembrance, the energy contained in objects passed down, and the resiliency reflected by creating a new life from fragments of all that has gone before. My hope is that the viewer is offered a glimpse  of a world that is not only personal but strikes a universal chord of beauty, joy and connectedness.
