Application Process
The gallery accepts applications in all 2D and/or 3D media, though we would especially like to encourage Southeast Seattle, BIPOC, and 3-D artists to apply for membership. We review applications and vote on new members at our monthly membership meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. Applications received by the 20th of the month will be reviewed at the following meeting.
To apply for membership, fill out the online Membership Application. You’ll be asked to submit your art cv/resume, an artist statement, and 5-10 images of your artwork. The Membership Committee will reach out to you with information about the next steps.
Who we are looking for
We want artists with originality, bringing something different to our collective, with work that displays evident technical skill. Artists in Columbia City Gallery also care about community, and share our values. Learn more about our values here.
