The Columbia City Gallery is an artists’ collective that brings together emerging and professional artists working in diverse media, including representational and abstract painting, prints, mixed media, sculpture, glass, ceramics, enamel and hand crafted jewelry.

The mission of the gallery is to provide an exhibition space for local artists, an educational center for creative endeavors and a gathering place for our neighbors to experience art. Founded in 1999, the gallery is a lively center of the community, located in the heart of the Historic District of Columbia City.

SouthEast Effective Development is the parent organization for the Columbia City Gallery.

The gallery is currently accepting applications for membership for artists in all media. We are particularly interested in growing the number of sculptors, 3D artists and jewelers in our group.

Community Gallery

The gallery showcases guest artists who reflect its ethnically diverse neighborhood and to present exhibits that express unique viewpoints of special groups or material of particular concern to the community. We seek exhibits that bring fresh, thought provoking visions to Columbia City.

We are accepting artist exhibit proposals.
