The HeArt of Haiti | Guest Gallery
A fundraising exhibit featuring a collection of Haitian paintings. Haitian Seattle resident David Pierre-Louis went to Haiti days after the earthquake to find his mother. After reuniting with her, he saw the magnitude of unmet needs in recovery efforts and felt compelled to help. He provided humanitarian aid where he could and returned to Seattle with this collection of paintings from Haitian artists. Through his organization, L’Union Fait La Force (Strength Through Unity), he will use proceeds from the sold art to fund his continued efforts.
